Ever since we moved here to Kuwait in 1994,
almost every day was a holiday for me. We went to restaurants, the beach, the
swimming pool or the park anytime we wanted. Of course my parents would only
let us go if we finish our homework.
It's almost 2013 and this is still how it is in
Kuwait. If you drive around Kuwait at any time you will find people in cafes or
restaurants, people shopping in malls, others spending time with their children
on the sea side and so many cars in the streets. May Kuwait is the city that
should be called the city that never sleeps.
I was driving yesterday night at 11:00 pm, and
I shot this video to prove my point, it is not so clear but I think it does
show how many cars are out there. Don't people need to sleep early? Aren't
there jobs, schools and classes? It is also amusing how people go to the
cinemas, shopping malls and restaurants any day of the week. It doesn't really
matter whether it is a weekend or not. People are willing to have fun at all
times. Kuwait is really special and the life style here is really interesting.
